Main
Hall (Wright Room)
A light airy hall able to accommodate
up to 230 people, 100 seated. It is fitted with a large
motor-driven drop-down screen (see details below), and an
overhead video projector, plus connectors for laptops and
audio equipment. The hall also has excellent acoustics,
an audio loop for the hard of hearing, a CD/DVD player,
dimmable overhead lighting and black-out blinds.
Rental includes use of trestle tables and stacking chairs
or you can hire your own. |

Committee Room
(The St Michael Room)
This committee
room can be used for informal meetings . Ithas seating for
12 to 14 people or 10 in boardroom-style using the conference
table.

Kitchen
The well-equipped kitchen has serving hatches to both
the main hall and the foyer. It also has a separate external
entrance and a washroom.
Equipment includes 2 sinks plus a hand wash, 2 electric
ovens with 6 ring gas hob, 2 refrigerators, 1 freezer,1
dishwasher and 120 settings of crockery, cutlery and wine
glasses.

The Foyer
The main entrance to the
St. Joan’s Centre is via the spacious foyer. The foyer
can be used for small meetings, coffee mornings, etc.
– it has a serving hatch to the kitchen.

The Cloister
A spacious corridor runs along the
Main Hall.
It has access to full toilet amenities, including wheelchair
access and baby-changing facilities.
A self contained outdoor court yard can be entered from
this Cloister.

Main Hall Audio-Visual
Facilities
A wall switch
causes a 5'6" x 9'8" screen to be lowered from the ceiling
in front of the table/chair storage area. Another switch
activates the lowering of a video projector from the ceiling.
Sockets are provided for connection of external audio and
video sources and a radio microphone system is included.
Connections are: two 3-pin microphone sockets, One 15-way
“mini D-type” video input connector from a laptop, One 3.5mm
audio input connector from a laptop. There is a CD/DVD player,
provision for attachment of an MP3/IPod, and an audio loop
is active in the hall when a microphone is in use.
